I was told about this place from guys at work and they didn't lie! I asked what they recommend the guy working said rib tips are their best seller. I got an order. I thought $15 was a little high but when I got the food it was enough to feed 2 men! Beyond that the meat was tender and absolutely delicious. Best local BBQ I've had in the past 10 years.
Best bbq in Decatur. I usually get the full slab of ribs and potato salad and it's allways fresh. I like the fact that they actually grill the meat and not just oven bake it.
I've called my order on a couple of occasions, and my order was correct and hot! I did wait a few minutes, but food was just coming off the grill. I get the sauce on the side just in case someone doesn't want it or I sneak a taste The aroma makes your mouth water! Staff is friendly enough. No dining in service. Just pick up and go. I can't speak to the side dishes offered as I only get meat. No ambiance, it's just delicious bbq. Prices aren't bad. A slab of ribs maybe @ 23$, but it's worth it.

This spot was on my bucket list we drove 600 miles to sample his rib tips. Owner Perry greated us with a huge smile that was genuine and bespoke the depth of his heart and love for people. Rib tips were perfectly seasoned, piping hot and unusually tender. I tried to stop with one helping, but my stomach refused to be denied. This was a trip we had planned for more than 2 years and we were NOT disappointed! Add PT's to your list of BBQ SPOTS....you'll be glad you did.
Love it, Love it. The pork sandwiches are my favorite. You will love their food in Springfield & Decatur locations. So go try it.
Yee haw. Man was this place good. Half slab of ribs cooked just right, had you licking your fingers. Mac and cheese side was good. Collards were okay, I'd pick something else next time-but I'm picky on my collards. I'd say it's the best actually bbq in Decatur and Springfield

This is a go to lunch spot for me in Decatur. The rib tips are second to none and the chicken is always moist and smoky. Service is always friendly and fast! Portions are very generous for a great price. If you've driven by this spot and not stopped, you're missing out!
